Our flagship hard maples cutting boards are about 11 inches wide and two feet long, with silicone rubber feet to keep your board high and dry over the kitchen counter. Unlike our competitors' products, each one is made from a single block of hard maple, also known as rock maple or sugar maple. This celebrated wood (used in basketball courts and bowling alleys) is among the best North American lumber for cutting boards, since the grain is hard and fine, resisting gouges and the absorption of liquids or food particles.
These solid boards, more than an inch and a half thick, come from Pennsylvania lumber that's shaped and finished in our own Maryland workshop. Unlike our competitors, we use no glued-together strips or scraps.
To help resist moisture, our boards are finished first with food-grade raw linseed oil and then our proprietary board balm, a 100% plant-based and organic mixture of linseed oil and carnauba wax (no petroleum, mineral or animal products). Each order includes a free 2 oz. can of board balm so you can easily renew the shine after scuffs and slices in the kitchen. The complimentary feet are attached with stainless-steel screws.

Your board is guaranteed against defects or poor workmanship, and returns are welcome for 30 days. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions, including about different shapes or sizes. Check back often and read the dimensions at the top, because we often have limited quantities, different sizes at different prices and new products.
Shipping is via UPS rates for U.S. customers. For our international visitors, please add this cutting board to your cart and type in an address to see your shipping cost. If you have questions or want us to look for a better shipping rate, please send us a message.
