NEW! Treeboard now offers custom engraved cutting boards.
It's easy: All you have to do is check the box for custom engraving for one of our maple, oak or cherry boards and then enter the text you want placed on the board.
By default, the engraved text will be on one of the long edges of the board, the opposite side from the Treeboard brand. While most companies offering engraving put it on top of the board, we prefer it on the side to preserve the natural grain of the main face of the board and keep it clear for your culinary skills.
If you want the engraving on the top of the board or elsewhere, please make a note in the order comments when checking out. (The order comments box appears when entering your address during checkout, as long as you're not using Apple Pay or Google Pay.)

ENGRAVING QUESTIONS
Do you offer customized engraving on your cutting boards and other wooden products?
Yes! In February 2026 we are up and running with engraving capability to make the perfect custom cutting board for your special occasion, for your special friend, for your special dietary needs or for yourself.
How do I get a board engraved?
On each product's page there's a box to check for engraving (the current cost is $14) and another box where you can enter the text.
Where wil the text be engraved on a cutting board?
Many shops can only engrave on the top of a piece of wood, but most of our customers prefer the text on the edge, preserving the top for culinary masterpieces. So we have a special setup to engrave the edge, and by defaul we'll do it on the longer edge (the "length" measurement, or 13" for our medium boards for example). We'll engrave the long edge that doesn't have the Treeboard brand (the one on the opposite side).
What if I want my board engraved on another side?
If you want the engraving somewhere else, please make that clear in the order comments when cheking out.
What typeface/font do you use?
We have experimented with a few typefaces and are currently using the Bookos Bold or Bookos Bold Italic that comes with Windows becuase it produces good results with our equipment.
Do you have a sans serif font?
Yes, we can do Arial bold. Please note that in the order comments when checking out.
Can you engrave special chcaracters or non-Roman foreign alphabets?
We think so. We have tried Cyrillic and Hebrew and playful characters from Windows Wingdings and Webdings. Send us a note in the order comments so we can make sure it goes through correctly.
*Note: The order comments for special instructions don't appear when using Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc., so you would need to do regular checkout and enter your address and other information.
