Some good news: since we manufacture in the U.S., nearly all of our customers will avoid paying tariffs on orders shipped from our new Maryland workshop. Additionally, our supply chain is almost all regional, with the lumber coming from just a few hundred miles away, so we won't have substantial hidden tariffs baked into our prices. (So far we have identified our silicone rubber feet as being made in China, but we're working on changing that and even have a strategy for making feet ourselves.)

The upshot of our local supply chain is that more of your purchase goes to supporting our family business, the employees' competitive wages and benefits and the other things we believe in, such as planting a tree for every order.

To our customers outside the U.S.--most of the time you won't pay tariffs, either, due to the de minimis rules most countries have on allowing small shipments in without duties. Canadian customers may pay some provincial taxes via Canada Post when the package arrives at their local post offices.
