Our First Tree Order
1st Mar 2020
We're excited that we placed our first tree order this week with the state nursery operated by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
By late March we should have 100 trees ready to plant in our community. If you're a homeowner, church, business or if you just want a tree to put in a pot in your apartment, then please drop us a line.
When we make furniture or other products at Treeboard, whenever possible we use wood from fallen trees, timber removed by homeowners or other leftover wood. Still, we're committed to giving back to the world's forests by planting at least one tree per order of wooden products.
For Treeboard's first order of trees we selected swamp white oak (Quercus bicolor), redbud (Cercis canadensis), serviceberry (Amelanchier canadensis), black cherry (Prunus serotina), black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) and red maple (Acer rubrum).
